Production Technician - Level 3

Planet Recruitment are working with an innovative and rapidly growing technology company based in Witney, specialising in advanced monitoring solutions for the energy sector.
Due to continued expansion, our client is seeking a Production Technician - Level 3 to join their skilled production team.
The Role
This is a hands-on, high-level production role focused on building products consistently, accurately, and in line with established processes. You will play a key role in maintaining product quality and supporting efficient production throughput.
The position requires strong electromechanical assembly experience, with a focus on precision and adherence to procedures rather than complex engineering diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities
*Carry out repetitive but skilled electromechanical assembly and testing
*Perform SMT and through-hole soldering, including PCB rework
*Follow work instructions, build procedures, and quality standards
*Undertake basic electrical fault finding (e.g. wiring issues, connector faults, simple PCB-level symptoms)
*Support production throughput and ensure consistent build quality
*Work closely with Production Leads and escalate complex faults to the Engineering team
About You
*Previous experience in electromechanical assembly or a similar production role
*Confident with SMT/through-hole soldering and PCB handling
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards
*Able to follow technical instructions and processes accurately
*Basic electrical fault-finding capability
*A reliable team player with a proactive attitude
