Job Title: Security Guard
Salary: £35,501 per annum
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off
Hours: 07:00 – 19:00
About the RoleWe are recruiting for a professional and dependable Security Guard to join our client’s on-site operations team. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and well-managed environment for all staff, visitors, contractors, and clients.
This role is both security-focused and customer-facing, requiring a strong presence, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to site safety.
Key Responsibilities*Manage site access for visitors, contractors, and deliveries
*Provide a professional and welcoming front-of-house presence
*Carry out regular patrols and monitor CCTV systems
*Complete both static and mobile security duties, including outdoor patrols in all weather conditions
*Respond promptly to any suspicious activity or security concerns
*Record incidents, accidents, near misses, and daily activity logs accurately
*Follow all site security procedures and operational protocols
*Support general site operations when required
Communication & Compliance*Maintain strict confidentiality in line with GDPR requirements
*Produce clear and accurate written and verbal reports
*Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure full site compliance and safety standards
Requirements*Valid SIA Security Licence (essential)
Desirable Qualifications*CCTV Licence
*Fire Marshal qualification
*First Aid certification
