Bulk Gases Logistics ManagerA senior logistics role responsible for overseeing bulk gas transport, fleet performance, compliance and customer delivery across a complex operational environment. Reporting into the Plant & Operations Director, you’ll lead planning, drivers and fleet activity while driving safety, efficiency and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
*End-to-end management of bulk gas logistics and daily delivery planning
*Lead, coach and manage drivers and logistics planning teams
*Fleet and route optimisation to improve utilisation and reduce costs
*Ensure full transport, H&S and regulatory compliance
*Oversee vehicle maintenance, inspections and operating licence requirements
*Manage import/export activity, customs paperwork and supplier coordination
*Track KPIs including OTIF, fill rates, costs and asset utilisation
*Drive continuous improvement across logistics, processes and training
*Act as a key liaison between operations, sales, maintenance and customers
Ideal background:
*Senior logistics / transport management experience (bulk, hazardous or regulated environments ideal)
*Strong knowledge of fleet management, compliance and driver legislation
*Proven ability to lead teams, improve performance and manage cost
*Commercial, customer-focused and solutions-driven
