Job Title: Logistics / Forklift Operative
Location: Wokingham, Berkshire
Salary: £28,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (1-hour lunch break)
About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and dependable Warehouse Operative to join a busy logistics team in Wokingham. This is a varied, hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities*Assist with daily warehouse and logistics activities, including receiving and checking deliveries
*Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with incoming stock
*Accurately store and track inventory within client-designated areas
*Process orders using Warehouse Management Systems (training provided)
*Pick, pack, label, and prepare goods for dispatch according to client requirements
*Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment
*Adhere to Health & Safety standards and environmental procedures, including recycling practices
Skills & Experience Required*Confident using computers and basic IT systems
*Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
*Valid counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
*Extended reach forklift licence desirable (training can be provided)
*Ability to handle physical work, including lifting up to 25kg
*Good literacy and numeracy skills
*Able to work independently and as part of a team
