Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Permanent)
Location: Ashford Surrey
Salary: £27000 – £28,000 DOE
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off
*2 x Early: 5:00am – 5:00pm
*2 x Late: 9:00am – 9:00pm
OverviewWe’re recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our client’s team in Ashford on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on, varied role involving goods handling, order fulfilment, and general warehouse duties within a busy logistics environment.
Key Duties*Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
*Load and unload vehicles, checking goods against delivery paperwork
*Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
*Maintain accurate stock records and labelling
*Support general warehouse operations including stock control and organisation
*Carry out daily equipment checks and report any issues
*Follow all health & safety procedures and safe manual handling practices
What We’re Looking For*Valid counterbalance forklift licence
*5-year checkable work history
*Previous warehouse or logistics experience
*Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
*Strong attention to detail and reliability
*Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
