Management Accountant
Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 + study support

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of the management accounts process for a portfolio of entities, with real exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence decision-making.
This is an exciting opportunity to start immediately (however they can accommodate a month’s notice period). The interview process is a two-stage process, both face-to-face interviews in the office. Based in modern offices in the heart of Southwest London, you’ll be part of a fast-paced and high-performing team, working closely with budget holders and senior leadership. This role is ideal for a part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys business partnering, and is keen to develop their experience in budgeting, forecasting, and commercial finance.


Key Responsibilities:
*Preparation of monthly management accounts for a portfolio of entities, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
*Producing detailed variance analysis with clear commentary against budget and forecast.
*Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
*Supporting cost control processes and reporting for budget holders.
*Partnering with budget holders during budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring deadlines are met and providing appropriate challenge.
*Building strong working relationships across departments to support collaboration and financial understanding.
*Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline finance processes.
*Supporting ad hoc finance tasks, particularly during acquisitions and integrations.
*Contributing to the annual audit process and responding to auditor queries.
*Supporting the development and effective use of planning and reporting systems.


Skills & Experience Required:
*Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) and actively studying.
*Previous experience in a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant role within a fast-paced environment.
*Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
*Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
*Proactive, organised, and adaptable approach.
*Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and Formulas).
*Experience with systems such as Sage, Planful, or Microsoft Dynamics (desirable).
*Power BI or Power Query experience (advantageous but not essential).
