Job Description:
Sports/PE Cover (Female)
*Job Type: Full-time, Temporary
*Location: Bolton, Lancashire
*Salary: Negotiable, paid to scale
We are seeking a qualified or experienced female PE Teacher to join a secondary school in Bolton, Lancashire. This role is to cover a period of sickness and starts next Tuesday on an ongoing basis. It offers flexible supply and long-term opportunities across secondary schools in Lancashire.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons in line with curriculum standards.
*Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to enhance student learning.
*Maintain a positive, energetic, and structured classroom environment.
*Collaborate with other teaching staff to plan and coordinate sports events and activities.
*Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during physical activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred but not mandatory.
*Enhanced DBS check.
*Proven experience as a PE Teacher or significant experience working with children in physical education.
*Strong understanding of PE curriculum and teaching methods.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to engage and inspire students in physical education.
