Job Description:
Bookkeeper / Accounts AssistantPermanent | Full-time | 8.30am – 4.30pm
NeneBrook Recruitment (NRG) is partnering with a well-established business to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounts Assistant to join their busy finance department on a permanent basis.
You will be working as part of a small, friendly finance team and should have strong all-round accounts experience with a practical, hands-on approach.
You will have:*Strong IT skills, with proficiency in MS Excel, Outlook and Word
*Experience using accounting software and/or payroll systems
*Knowledge of MS Navision and/or Sage Payroll (advantageous)
*Previous experience covering multiple aspects of accounts; AAT part-qualified or qualified by experience
Working closely with the finance team, your main duties will include:*Processing sales invoices
*Processing customer receipts (bank and card)
*Reconciling sales ledger balances
*Debt collection and customer account follow-up
*Checking credit card payments against amounts received in the bank
*Providing sales information and reporting to the Director
*Liaising with customers to resolve account queries
