Supply Maths Teacher (Long-Term)
We are recruiting a Supply Maths Teacher to join an inclusive all-boys school to start as soon as possible in the Stoke-on-Trent area. This is a long-term supply opportunity with potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

*Class sizes: Small groups, with additional support where appropriate
About the Role
*Deliver engaging Maths lessons that support progress for all learners, adapting teaching to meet a range of needs.
*Teach appropriately sequenced lessons (with access to department resources and schemes of work).
*Create a calm, consistent learning environment and use positive behaviour strategies in line with school policy.
*Support pupils with EHCPs and additional needs through effective differentiation, scaffolding, and close collaboration with support staff.
*Monitor learning through formative assessment and provide feedback to help pupils improve.
*Work collaboratively with the Maths department, SENCO, pastoral teams, and external professionals where required.
About You
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification).
*Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and/or KS4 (or strong subject knowledge with relevant experience).
*Proven experience supporting learners with EHCP plans and a strong understanding of inclusive classroom practice.
*Confidence working with small class sizes and adapting lessons to meet individual needs.
*Strong behaviour management, with a consistent, nurturing approach.
*Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
