Job Description:
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are currently looking for a Senior Process Engineer to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Oxford area. As the Senior Process Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the development of a robust, scalable manufacturing process. You will also support external engineering and manufacturing contractors to ensure delivery to specification and within both budget and timelines. Additionally, you will provide technical review and input into manufacturing processes and/or engineering designs for equipment and supervise the installation and qualification of an aseptic manufacturing line.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Senior Pharmaceutical Process Engineer will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Provide technical input into the design of GMP manufacturing processes and new equipment suitable for use in sterile operations.
2. Lead the commissioning and qualification of GMP equipment for clinical use.
3. Support the technology transfer.
4. Lead IMP packaging development to ensure suitability for sterile IMP clinical use.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior Pharmaceutical Process Engineer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. MSc/MEng degree or higher in a relevant science/engineering field.
2. Extensive industry experience in process development and/or pharmaceutical engineering.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with GMP equipment qualification and process development/industrialisation.
