Job Description:
Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join one of our Manufacturing clients in Selby.
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Manufacturing
Location: Selby
Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm. (plus 1 in 8 on call)
Salary: £40,000 - £43,000

Key Responsibilities:
*Perform planned, predictive, and reactive mechanical maintenance
*Perform preventative maintenance inspection (PM), diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment/components including pumps, centrifuges, screw conveyors, gearboxes, milling equipment, pulleys, shafts, bearing and belts.
*Carry out fault diagnosis and rectification solutions.
*Mechanical installation and commissioning of new and repaired machinery and equipment.
*Carry out all work safely, in accordance with site safety procedures.
What We’re Looking For:
*NVQ/ONC Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical Maintenance as a minimum
*Proven experience in an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role within manufacturing environments (FMCG preferable)
*Experience in fabrication and welding
Suited candidates previously hold roles such as:
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Mechanical Engineer, Automation Engineer, Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Mechanic, Robotics Engineer
