Finance Business Partner Newark (Hybrid – minimum 3 days on-site)
£45,000 – £50,000 + benefits
Macildowie are working with a highly established, international organisation to recruit a Finance Business Partner into a close-knit, high-performing finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to step into a broad, commercially focused role where you’ll gain real exposure to senior stakeholders and play a key part in driving business performance.
The RoleThis is a hands-on Finance Business Partner position combining commercial finance, project accounting and process ownership. You’ll work closely with operational teams, providing insight, challenge and support to improve performance across a portfolio of projects.
Key responsibilities include:
*Business partnering with senior stakeholders to support decision making
*Preparing and reviewing revenue and WIP calculations
*Supporting project teams to understand profitability and performance
*Conducting detailed financial analysis and reporting against KPIs
*Managing client due diligence and ensuring compliance with internal processes
*Supporting contract setup and maintenance within the finance system
*Leading project review meetings focused on financial performance
*Providing training and guidance to non-finance teams
About YouWe’re looking for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
You will ideally have:
*Experience within a project-based or service-led environment
*Strong understanding of revenue recognition / WIP
*Confident communication skills, with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
*Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)
*A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to support across a small team
Candidates can be:
*Fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
*Part-qualified
*Or qualified by experience
