Description
*Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure fiscal responsibility and alignment with organisational objectives.
*Oversee financial reporting and compliance with public sector regulations and standards.
*Provide strategic advice to senior stakeholders on financial matters and risk management.
*Manage and develop the finance team to ensure effective performance and professional growth.
*Ensure the accurate preparation and timely submission of financial statements and reports.
*Monitor and manage cash flow, funding, and expenditure to support organisational priorities.
*Collaborate with internal and external auditors to maintain compliance and address audit findings.
*Required to be on site 3-4 days a week
Profile
A successful Interim Finance Director should have:
*A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
*Proven experience in senior financial leadership roles, ideally within the public sector.
*Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting standards.
*Excellent ability to manage budgets, financial planning, and cash flow.
