Temporary & Permanent Opportunities | Multiple Local Schools
We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants, including General Classroom TAs and SEND Teaching Assistants, to support a number of schools in the TA18 area.These roles offer a mix of temporary and permanent positions, with opportunities across early years, primary and secondary settings depending on experience and preference.
The Roles
Depending on the placement, responsibilities may include:
*Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 or small group basis
*Assisting the class teacher with day-to-day learning activities
*Providing targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
*Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
*Supporting pupils’ social, emotional and academic development
We’re Looking For
*Previous experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
*A caring, patient and proactive approach
*Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs (SEND experience welcomed, not essential for all roles)
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A valid DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
