We’re Hiring: Head of Fleet


Are you an experienced fleet professional ready to lead at a national level?
We are looking to hire a Head of Fleet to take ownership of our UK-wide vehicle operations, driving compliance and efficiency across the business.


About the Role
You’ll be responsible for managing a fleet of approximately 200 vehicles (3.5T–18T), working closely with operational managers across the UK to ensure everything runs smoothly, safely, and in full compliance.


Location
Midlands-based, with regular attendance at office near Junction 26 M1 (Nottingham).


What You’ll Be Doing
Leading the management of a diverse national fleet.
*Ensuring full compliance, including Operator’s Licence oversight
*Supporting regional managers with driver and fleet compliance
*Building strong relationships with internal teams and external suppliers
*Overseeing workshops and service standards across the network
*Managing fleet costs, fines, and day-to-day expenditure
*Handling fleet administration (V5s, purchase orders, etc.)
*Producing weekly reports for senior leadership


What We’re Looking For
*Transport Manager CPC (essential)
*Recent hands-on fleet management experience
*Strong knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements
*Excellent stakeholder management skills
*Experience managing commercial vehicles (highly desirable)
