We are actively seeking a Management Accountant for a well established company in Stockport.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful business on a permanent basis.

The main duties include:
*Monthly Management Accounts preparation and presentation
*Prepare and review financial statements for 4 entities
*Prepare monthly journals for accruals & prepayments explaining rationale behind accounting judgements.
*Full balance sheet reconciliations with supporting backing
*Variance analysis, including commentary
*Working closely with relevant business areas on Budget setting and forecasting
*Partner with key stakeholders to provide insightful financials
*Participate in statutory external audits and work with external accountants
*Engagement in transforming month end and other financial reporting processes
Our client is looking for a candidate who has:
*A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
*Experience of preparing and presenting monthly management accounts
*Strong Excel skills
*Excellent stakeholder management skills
