RG Consultancy are working with an excellent retailing business located in Bolton who are recruiting a Management Accountant to join their finance team.
This Management Accountant role is newly created to support the Finance Director with the monthly management accounts and day-to-day duties within the finance department alongside the transactional team.
Key responsibilities
*Lead month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting
*Oversee purchase and sales ledgers, including credit control
*Support audit processes and maintain financial records
*Managing VAT returns
*Analyse business costs and identify efficiencies
*Support reporting, forecasting, and commercial insights
*Review and strengthen financial controls
This role be suitable for an experienced Management Accountant who is confident the full month end close process
