Job Description:
Reed Recruitment are delighted to be working with a growing and well-established organisation to recruit a Credit Controller with broader accounts responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive finance professional who enjoys owning the credit control process while gaining exposure to wider accounting duties within a supportive team.
The Role
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining strong cash flow while supporting day-to-day finance operations. The role offers autonomy, variety, and the chance to make a real impact.
Key responsibilities include:
*End-to-end credit control, including chasing outstanding debt via phone and email
*Building strong relationships with customers to resolve queries and disputes
*Monitoring credit limits and assessing credit risk
*Allocating cash and reconciling customer accounts
*Raising sales invoices and credit notes
*Assisting with month-end processes, including journals and reconciliations
*Supporting purchase ledger and other ad-hoc accounts duties as required
About You
You’ll be confident, organised, and comfortable communicating at all levels. You’ll likely have:
*Proven experience in a credit control role
*Exposure to wider accounts duties (sales ledger, reconciliations, month-end support)
*Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
*A professional, resilient approach to debtor management
*Confidence using finance systems and Excel
