Salary: £27,000
Location: Preston - onsite role (will go hybrid one permanent)
Contract: Temp to Perm

We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join a growing organisation in Preston. This is a temporary role for three months with the opportunity to become permanent.
This is a great opportunity for someone at the start of their finance career. You will support the finance team with day to day tasks and gain practical experience in a supportive environment.
The company offers a friendly working culture and an open plan office. If you move into a permanent role, you will also have the option to work on a hybrid basis.
What you will do
You will support the finance team with routine tasks and help keep financial records accurate and up to date. Your main responsibilities will include:
*Processing and checking invoices on the system
*Helping to resolve any outstanding transactions
*Keeping financial records organised and accurate
*Supporting the team with basic finance administration
*Assisting with simple reports when needed
*Responding to internal queries about invoices and payments
*Working closely with colleagues to complete tasks on time
What we are looking for
This role is suitable for someone with some basic finance experience or relevant study. You should be organised, willing to learn, and comfortable working as part of a team.
*Around six months of finance experience or studying towards AAT
*Good attention to detail
*Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
*Strong organisation skills
*Clear communication skills
*A positive and reliable approach to work
