Senior Business Analyst - Contract - 12 Months

Rate: Up to £750 per day

Location: Newcastle / Hybrid (c. 60% onsite)

The role:

A public sector organisation is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the delivery of a high-profile, user-focused service.

This role sits within a multidisciplinary environment, working at pace to analyse, shape and deliver business and digital change. You will play a key role in ensuring services are designed around user needs, aligned to organisational goals, and deliver measurable outcomes.

Experience requirements & Responsibilities:*Lead business analysis activities across complex programmes and services.
*Elicit, define and translate business and user needs into clear requirements.
*Analyse current processes, identify improvement opportunities and define target operating models.
*Support the design, development and testing of new services and solutions.
*Assess impacts of change, including business, policy and operational constraints.
*Define success measures and ensure delivery aligns to expected outcomes and benefits.
*Collaborate within multidisciplinary Agile teams to support iterative delivery.
*Engage and influence stakeholders across business and technical teams.

Essential:*Proven experience operating as a Senior Business Analyst within digital environments.
*Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
*Experience working within Agile or similar delivery frameworks.
*Ability to analyse complex problems and drive solutions through to delivery.
*Experience translating business goals into clear requirements and outcomes.
*Understanding of operating models, business change and service design principles.
