*Prepare accurate financial statements and reports (IFRS / GAAP).
*Regulatory returns (high-level - template driven so can be learnt).
*Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and external audits.
*Monitor and analyse financial data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
*Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate reporting and data integrity.
*Keep updated on changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
*Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad hoc projects and reporting requirements.
*Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial processes and controls.
*Assisting with FPnA as well so great opportunity to build into budgets/forecasts/PnL and modelling - Power Bi visualization.

A successful Financial & Regulatory Accountant should have:
*A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
*Experience in financial reporting within any lender.
*Strong knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations.
*Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
*Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
*Ability to work collaboratively within the Accounting & Finance team.
