Job Description:
TPF Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a highly reputable, forward thinking firm of Chartered Accountants in Maidstone, who are looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Senior to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established practice with a strong regional presence, offering a great mix of audit and accounts work, exposure to a varied client base, and genuine progression prospects.
The Role
As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will take on a varied and hands on role, working across both audit and accounts assignments. You will manage your own portfolio while supporting managers and partners on larger engagements.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Leading audits from planning through to completion
*Preparing statutory accounts for a wide range of clients
*Working with owner managed businesses, SMEs, and larger corporates
*Supervising and mentoring junior staff
*Acting as a key point of contact for clients
*Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP (FRS 102) and relevant regulations
Requirements*ACA or ACCA qualified, or nearing qualification
*Strong experience in a mixed audit and accounts role within practice
*Good technical knowledge and a proactive approach
*Confident communicator with strong client facing skills
*Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines
