We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Cambridge, who is looking for an Audit Senior/Assistant Manager on a permanent full-time basis. This role would be largely office based, and our client is looking for someone with experience in a similar role.
Typical duties include:
*Leading fieldwork on audit assignments across a diverse portfolio of clients
*Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and supporting workpapers
*Supervising and mentoring junior team members on-site and remotely
*Liaising directly with clients, acting as a key point of contact during fieldwork
*Assisting with audit planning, risk assessment, and completion processes
*Supporting managers with technical issues and file reviews
*Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and auditing standards
You will have:
*ACA or ACCA part-qualified or newly qualified
*Strong technical audit and accounts preparation skills
*Confident communicator with some client-facing experience
*Ability to manage workloads across multiple assignments
*Proactive, detail-focused, and keen to develop supervisory responsibility
