RG Consultancy are currently recruiting an experienced Management Accountant for a well-established manufacturing company based in Failsworth. Working closely with the Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will play a key role in ensuring that financial and management accounting complies with the latest standards
This role would be perfect for a part/qualified CIMA candidate looking to further their career within a growing SME business.
Key Responsibilities*Preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements
*Ownership of month-end processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
*Management of VAT returns
*Support during the annual audit process
*Maintenance of the fixed asset register
*Detailed stock analysis and reporting
*Oversight of day-to-day finance operations, including occasional payroll cover
*Project margin analysis to support profitability tracking
*Cash book reconciliations
*Support the financial completion of projects
*Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Person Specification*Proven experience in a management accountant or similar role
*Experience working within an SME environment
*Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel and accounting systems
*Industrial sector experience is advantageous but not essential
