We are a supporting an SME in their search for a management accountant to join a team of five in this manufacturing business based in Altrincham. As a company, they have grown significantly over the last 12 months to around £35m t/o and are expecting this to continue for the coming years. This is an excellent opportunity, for a candidate to start at the end of July or beginning of August, in a newly created role.

Key Responsibilities
*Produce monthly management accounts, financial reports, and cashflow forecasts
*Lead budgeting and financial planning processes
*Manage year-end audit processes and liaise with external accountants
*Ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including VAT and financial regulations
*Improve financial controls, processes, and systems as the business grows
*Support commercial decision-making with analysis and recommendations
The Ideal Candidate
*Part-qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or equivalent experience
*Strong experience in a management accountant role, ideally within an SME
*Excellent understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and cashflow management
*Confident using accounting software
