The Role
As an Assistant Town Planner, you’ll be working closely with experienced planning professionals on a diverse portfolio of projects across sectors including residential, commercial, retail, and mixed-use developments. You’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of planning applications, appeals, and site appraisals.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assisting in the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals
*Conducting site appraisals and planning research
*Supporting senior team members with project delivery
*Liaising with local authorities, clients, and stakeholders
*Contributing to planning strategy and development proposals
About You:
*Degree (and ideally MSc) in Town Planning or a related discipline
*Working towards (or keen to work towards) MRTPI accreditation
*Some relevant planning experience (public or private sector)
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*A proactive and commercially aware mindset
