Senior Engineer / Field Service Engineer - £45,000 – £65,000 per annum + company van (field role) + benefits package

We are partnering with an innovative and rapidly growing engineering company at the forefront of sustainability technology. Specialising in advanced reverse-vending machines and deposit-return solutions, this organisation is playing a key role in reducing waste and driving environmental change across the UK and beyond.
Due to continued growth and expansion, they are seeking both a Senior Engineer and a Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team.

Key Responsibilities
Senior Engineer:
*Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of advanced mechanical and electronic systems
*Take ownership of product lifecycle from concept through to production
*Work closely with R&D teams to innovate and enhance system performance
*Analyse technical challenges and implement robust engineering solutions
*Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
Field Service Engineer:
*Carry out installation, commissioning, and maintenance of machines at customer sites
*Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
*Provide technical support and training to clients where required
*Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional service delivery
*Travel to various locations as part of the role
Shared Responsibilities:
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations and customer support
*Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
*Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of work carried out


What We’re Looking For
Senior Engineer:
*Strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering
*Proven experience in product development, ideally within automated or electromechanical systems
*Ability to lead projects and influence technical direction
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Field Service Engineer:
*Hands-on experience with industrial or electro-mechanical equipment
*Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
*Comfortable working independently in the field
*Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
