Maintenance Operative (Temporary)
Location: Nottingham (NG7 3GE)
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Job Type: Temporary
Duration: 4 weeks
Hours: 10 hours per week (flexible – ideally 2 days, 9.00am – 2.00pm or 10.00am – 3.00pm)
We are currently recruiting for a Temporary Maintenance Operative to support a residential site in Nottingham for an initial 4-week period. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible, part-time hours with an immediate start.
The role
*Carry out minor reactive maintenance tasks across the site
*Complete basic painting and touch-up works
*Assist with planned maintenance, testing and compliance checks
*Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
*Support the wider team with general maintenance duties
About you
*Previous experience in a maintenance or handyman role
*Basic skills in painting and general repairs
*Able to work independently and manage your own workload
*Reliable, proactive and hands-on approach
*Good awareness of health and safety
