Job Description:
Our client, a growing business within a manufacturing environment based in Bishop Auckland, are looking to recruit a HR Business Partner to join their team.
This is a varied and hands on role supporting the wider business through continued growth, working closely with managers to deliver a proactive and high quality HR service across the organisation, with travel to other sites required as part of the role.
Key responsibilities:
*Support the delivery of the People Plan and ongoing development of HR processes and procedures
*Provide guidance on HR policies, employment law and employee relations matters
*Coach and support managers across performance, attendance and capability issues
*Support end to end recruitment, including sourcing candidates and assisting with interviews
*Support probation reviews, appraisals and identification of training and development needs
*Manage sickness absence processes, welfare meetings and occupational health referrals
*Produce HR reporting on absence, turnover and timekeeping
*Support the development and maintenance of HR policies to ensure legal compliance
*Take ownership of HR projects and reporting requirements as needed
About you:
*Previous experience within a generalist HR role is essential
*CIPD Level 5 or equivalent or above is required
*Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
*Confident supporting and influencing managers at all levels
*Proactive approach with strong problem solving ability
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
*Able to work independently whilst also being a key team player
*High level of professionalism and confidentiality
