Job Description:
Main duties in the role:
*Deliver end-to-end payroll processing to strict deadlines, including high-volume routine transactions, adjustments, corrections and special payments.
*Maintain accurate employee data across payroll systems, performing validation checks and quality assurance to ensure error-free payroll runs.
*Calculate and process statutory elements such as SSP, SMP, SPP, bonuses, annual leave and other payroll-related deductions.
*Prepare payroll journals, complete monthly balance-sheet reconciliations and resolve payroll variances in collaboration with Finance.
*Handle employee payroll enquiries professionally, maintain confidentiality, and escalate complex issues when required.
*Work collaboratively with HR, Finance and wider teams, supporting compliance, documentation standards and contributing to process improvements.
