CAD Technician - Roofing & Cladding
Warrington (Office Based - 5 Days Per Week)

Are you a CAD Technician with strong 2D AutoCAD experience looking for a long-term position in a stable and expanding business?

Are you looking for a role where every project is different, working across sectors such as education, defence and heritage?

This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist contractor delivering roofing and cladding installations, maintenance and repairs across the UK.

Due to increasing workload, they are looking to add a CAD Technician to their Pre-Construction department. This addition will allow them to take on more projects and continue their growth.

You will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings, liaising with architects and steelwork fabricators, attending site visits for measurements, and ensuring drawings meet required building standards and regulations.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong culture, great team dynamic, and clear progression available into a senior technician or management role as the department expands.

The Role:
*Producing detailed 2D CAD drawings for roofing and cladding systems
*Liaising with architects, steelwork fabricators and external contractors to interpret design requirements
*Producing technical plans based on supplied design information
*Attending site visits to take measurements where required
*Ensuring drawings comply with building regulations and construction standard

The Person:
*2D CAD experience
*Background in construction preferred, but engineering and M&E backgrounds also considered
*Confident producing technical drawings independently and accurately
*Must be commutable to Warrington
