I am delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a growing and highly successful retail business based in Rotherham, who are looking to appoint an ambitious Accounts Assistant to join their close-knit finance team.


Having experienced significant expansion over the past three years, this business is continuing on an exciting growth trajectory and is now looking for someone who can grow alongside them long-term. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with prior accounts experience who is keen to further develop their skills within a progressive and supportive environment.


The Role:
Working as part of a small finance team of three, you will gain exposure to a broad range of accounting duties and play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Processing purchase and sales invoices
*Bank reconciliations
*Assisting with month-end processes
*Managing supplier statements and queries
*Supporting with payment runs
*General finance administration and ad hoc duties


About You:
*Previous experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
*Good working knowledge of Excel
*A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
