Job Description:
Logistics Administrator
*£28,000 - £37,000 DOE
*Stoke on Trent
*Monday to Friday - 8:00am - 5:30pm
*Remote weekend working on a rota basis (approx. 1 in 4 weekends )
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Administrator to join a busy and fast-paced team. This is a varied role combining logistics coordination with general administrative support, ideal for someone highly organised with strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
*Coordinate daily logistics and transport operations
*Process orders, shipments, and delivery schedules
*Liaise with suppliers, couriers, and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries
*Track shipments and resolve any delivery or operational issues
*Prepare logistics documentation including delivery notes and invoices
*Maintain accurate records using internal systems (CRM/ERP)
General Administration Duties:
*Provide day-to-day administrative support to the team
*Manage and update databases, systems, and records
*Handle incoming calls, emails, and enquiries professionally
*Prepare reports, documents, and correspondence
*Schedule meetings and support diary management where required
*Maintain organised filing systems (digital and paper-based)
*Support other departments with ad hoc administrative tasks
About You*Previous experience in logistics, Office administration, or a similar role
*Strong organisational and time management skills
*Excellent attention to detail
*Confident communication skills
*Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
*Experience using CRM or ERP systems is desirable
*Ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment
