Stock Controller
Location: Barnsley
Salary: £30,000

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a well-established and growing manufacturing business based in Barnsley, who are looking to recruit an experienced and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join their operations team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about maintaining accurate inventory levels and supporting efficient production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
*Maintain accurate stock records across raw materials, components, and finished goods
*Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock availability to meet production demands
*Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, implementing corrective actions where required
*Conduct regular stock counts and audits, ensuring compliance with company procedures
*Work closely with procurement, production, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth stock flow
*Analyse stock data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
*Support continuous improvement initiatives within inventory management processes
Key Skills & Experience:
*Previous experience in a Stock Controller or Inventory role within a manufacturing environment
*Strong understanding of stock control systems and ERP/MRP systems
*Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
*Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise across departments
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
*Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
