Be a strategy sparring partner within a global communications consultancy.
The facts
Work within a small strategy team for clients in a huge range of sectors. Be informed by insights and advisory teams, brief copywriters and work with super sharp brains and strategically minded creatives to do a huge range of thinking. From brand positioning, narratives and campaigns to clever responses to specific, knotty business problems felt by your clients in their sectors.
The communications challenge might be global or for an audience of few. Some of these businesses are in regulated environments (pharma, finance, professional services) so you can also find new thinking space where strong guardrails exist.
You are multimodal. You can dive in and chew over a lot of data and information about an issue that you might not know much about, sit with it, make interesting connections and move to a smart next step in the client conversation. You can know that you have a great partner in a Head of Strategy, to swap ideas and find a solution.
This consultancy is going through a purple patch and wants to bring in fresh, new smart thinking to support their success.
You will:
*Have solid b2b strategy stories to tell across a range of industries
*Have a highly curious mind that likes lots of information and is comfortable with complexity
*Possibly have had some experience in management consultancy which has given you a good comfort level with quite technical business problems (but it’s not essential)
*Have a minimum of 7 years relevant experience, but different levels will be considered up to very experienced, senior Director level.
You’ll be:
*A broad thinker and eminently curious
*A natural writer and communicator
*Able to flip your quality thinking from one industry to another with ease
*Great at articulating the actual problem from a lot of information and distil it to a clear response and recommendation.
Location wise, you might be in the UK, Europe or the US. If you are U.S. based, East Coast is preferable.Please note the large range of day rate is to reflect the broad range of experience being considered. This will be benchmarked.
