Engineering Geologist
Northampton
£30,000 - £35,000
We are looking for an enthusiastic Engineering Geologist to join a talented and growing team of ground investigation specialists based in Northampton.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established consultancy with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality geotechnical and geoenvironmental solutions across the UK. You’ll be joining a close-knit group where your work will have real impact, gaining exposure to a wide variety of projects across residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors. From small-scale site investigations to large, complex developments, the workload is both diverse and technically engaging, offering excellent scope to broaden your experience.
The Role:
*Supervising and carrying out ground investigations
*Logging soils and rock to British Standards
*Producing factual and interpretative reports
*Assisting with geotechnical and geoenvironmental assessments
*Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams
Experience Required:
*Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, or similar
*Experience within a UK ground investigation consultancy
*Strong logging and report writing skills
*Understanding of geotechnical principles (e.g. foundations, slope stability)
*Full UK driving licence
