Cover Supervisor - Caerphilly

Are you confident leading a classroom and highly skilled in behaviour management? Are you looking for a rewarding role in secondary schools across the Caerphilly area from September?
We are currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Caerphilly. Both long-term, full-time placements and flexible day-to-day supply roles are available for candidates with strong classroom and behaviour management experience.

The Role

September start
Long-term and short-term positions available
Opportunities across secondary schools in Caerphilly
Daily rate of £120 - £150, depending on qualifications and level of experience
Supervise whole classes during teacher absence
Deliver pre-set work and ensure students remain on task
Effectively manage classroom behaviour and maintain a calm, purposeful learning environment
Respond confidently to challenge and low-level disruption, in line with school behaviour policies
Support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4
Uphold safeguarding procedures at all times
Provide feedback to teaching staff at the end of lessons

Requirements

Experience working with young people in a secondary school or youth setting
Strong behaviour management skills - essential
Confidence supervising whole classes independently
Education Workforce Council (EWC) registration is required
A calm, resilient and professional approach
A genuine interest in supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing
