The role: Property Reinsurance Pricing Actuary


*We are seeking to hire an experienced Actuary to join our Property team based in London.
*In this role, you will apply your expertise in insurance and reinsurance pricing techniques to provide outstanding client service.
*We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills as you will be leading our relationship with a key client.

How you’ll make an impact

*Manage our key client relationship including risk analysis and modelling of the clients’ portfolios including complex multinational groups.
*Liaising with our client’s stakeholders and building strong relationships by communicating effectively, internally and externally, to maximise service delivery levels.
*Design and evaluation of risk management strategies for Property lines.
*Building of bespoke models, pricing of reinsurance contracts, structured insurance solutions and capital market products.
*Being involved in renewals, tenders and ad-hoc projects.
*Supporting development of product innovation, both to cement/expand existing relationships and to facilitate entry into new ones.

About You

*Part-qualified actuary or close to qualification.
*Ideally from a reinsurance background although we can compromise.
*Ideally from a Property experience although once again not mandatory.
*Excellent interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to forming relationships as you will be managing a key account.
*Sound knowledge and confidence in presenting model outputs, model limitations, and assumptions.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*Must have UK right to work
