As Corporate Tax Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the continued growth and success of the tax department, leading on complex advisory assignments, managing and mentoring a talented team, and building strong relationships with clients across a broad range of sectors. You will be trusted with real responsibility from the outset, working alongside senior leadership to shape the strategic direction of the tax offering.
The successful candidate will be a technically strong and commercially aware tax professional, ideally CTA or ACA qualified, with a proven track record of managing a varied corporate tax portfolio within a practice environment. You will have excellent communication skills and the confidence to present complex technical matters clearly to clients and colleagues alike. Key Responsibilities*CTA and/or ACA qualified, or equivalent, with significant post-qualification experience in corporate tax within a practice setting
*Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
*Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team, with strong leadership and communication skills
*Technically proficient across a broad range of corporate tax matters, with the confidence to advise on complex and high-value assignments
*A proactive and commercially focused approach, with the drive to contribute meaningfully to the firm’s continued growth and client relationships
Requirements*Managing a varied portfolio of corporate tax clients, delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services across a wide range of sectors
*Leading and developing junior members of the tax team, providing mentoring, technical guidance, and support with their ongoing professional development
*Building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to add value and grow the firm’s tax offering
*Collaborating with partners and senior stakeholders on business development initiatives and contributing to the wider strategic growth of the department
*Advising clients on complex tax matters including restructuring, acquisitions, and tax planning strategies, acting as a trusted adviser
