Job Description:
Company
Inside IR35 | UK-based | Largely Remote
We are supporting a leading international organisation in the appointment of an Interim FP&A Director (Europe & International). This is a senior, high impact role providing strategic financial leadership across a complex, multi country region.
The position is UK based, largely remote, with periodic travel to London and Manchester. The role operates within a large, matrixed international organisation and partners closely with senior regional leadership to drive performance, support decision making, and strengthen financial governance.
Key Responsibilities
*Provide strategic FP&A leadership across Europe & International markets, acting as a trusted advisor to the regional CFO and leadership team
*Own and lead all planning cycles, including annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans
*Deliver high-quality financial reporting and insight to senior executives, including Board level materials
*Partner closely with Commercial, Operations, and Supply Chain leadership to support pricing, investments, and business cases
*Lead complex financial modelling, scenario analysis, and investment appraisal, including M&A and capital allocation decisions
*Identify and articulate key risks and opportunities, driving proactive mitigation and value creation initiatives
*Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, systems, and reporting standards, including automation and analytics
*Lead, coach, and develop FP&A managers and analysts across multiple geographies
Key Skills preferred
*Proven experience operating at Finance Director / Senior FP&A Director level within a large international, matrixed organisation
*Strong background in regional or international FP&A, rather than single country roles
*Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate as a genuine business partner
*Advanced financial modelling, forecasting, and scenario-planning capability
*Experience working with enterprise systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) and analytics tools such as Power BI
*Professionally qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, CFA or equivalent)
*Resilient, commercially minded, and comfortable operating in complex, fast moving environments
*Prior interim experience advantageous but not essential
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FP&A leader to step into a visible, strategically important interim role within a well established international business.
If you have deep experience in international FP&A within large matrix organisations and are available for an inside IR35 interim assignment, we’d welcome a confidential conversation.
