We are seeking a caring, patient, and dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support for a pupil with Special Educational Needs. You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support learning, emotional regulation, and personal development throughout the school day.

Location: Burnley
Hours: Full-time (term time only) 8:30am – 3:30pm
Salary: £14.25 - £15 per hour
Key Responsibilities
*Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with SEN
*Assist with learning activities, adapting tasks as needed
*Support social, emotional, and behavioural development
*Implement strategies outlined in EHCPs and support plans
*Encourage independence and confidence
*Liaise with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals
*Support safeguarding and wellbeing at all times
About You
*Experience working with children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs)
*Calm, empathetic, and resilient approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*Ability to follow guidance and adapt support strategies
*Relevant TA qualification desirable but not essential
*Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
