Credit Controller
Glasgow
Full-Time, Permanent
£30,000 - £33,000
Are you a driven credit professional who thrives under pressure, builds great customer relationships, and knows how to get results? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join a growing, high-performing team at a well-established, market-leading business.
This is a fantastic chance to step into a busy, fast-paced environment where your skills will genuinely make a difference to the business’s cash flow and customer relationships.
What You’ll Be Doing
*Proactively contacting customers in arrears to recover overdue balances — securing full payment, agreed payment dates, or clear reasons for non-payment
*Monitoring payment promises and following up swiftly to ensure commitments are kept
*Recording dispute details accurately and escalating unresolved queries through the appropriate channels

*Resolving unallocated payments by liaising with customers and ensuring clear records are maintained for internal use
*Removing barriers to payment by responding quickly to requests for invoices, documentation, or additional information
*Proactively reaching out ahead of payment due dates to confirm customers have everything they need
*Contributing to team performance by flagging issues to your supervisor and sharing ideas to improve processes
Skills/Experience
*A proven team player who can work independently and collaboratively to hit shared goals
*Highly organised with the ability to juggle competing priorities in a fast-moving environment
*Strong communicator — confident and persuasive when speaking with customers at all levels
*Skilled negotiator who can influence outcomes while maintaining positive working relationships
*Detail-oriented, with the ability to meet deadlines without compromising on accuracy
*Solid customer service skills and a professional, solution-focused approach
*Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) — experience with Dynamics is a bonus
What’s On Offer
Join a well-established, market-leading business with a strong team culture and real room for development. In return for your hard work, they offer:
*Competitive salary, dependent on experience
*Company pension scheme
