Inclusive Learning Support Assistant – Worthing
£400+ per week | Full-time | Term-time only

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced support staff to join a specialist school supporting young people with complex learning needs.
Located in Worthing, this school provides a calm, structured, and supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to build confidence, independence, and essential life skills.
All students have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and present with a range of needs, including:
*Moderate to profound learning difficulties
*Autism and associated communication needs
*Speech, language and communication difficulties
*Social, emotional and behavioural needs (SEMH)
*Sensory needs (hearing and visual impairments)
*Physical disabilities
*Specific learning difficulties

About the RoleAs a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
*Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
*Support small group learning and targeted interventions
*Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum and staying engaged
*Promote independence, communication, and emotional regulation
*Work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and therapists
*Help create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
This role offers excellent experience for those considering careers in teaching, psychology, or specialist education.

*Are confident working with pupils with additional needs or challenging behaviour (desirable)
