We have an exciting opportunity for a Fire Alarm & Security Engineer based in Bedford for one of our clients on a Full time permanent basis.


Summary of the Fire Alarm & Security Engineer role
Salary: £35,000 - £38,000
Location: Field based
Type of Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday 8am-4pm
Responsibilities of theFire Alarm & Security Engineer
*Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance on fire alarm systems, access control, CCTV and emergency lighting services
*Identify, diagnose and rectify faults efficiently
*Complete small works and remedials where required
*Accurately complete service reports, certificates and compliance documentation using digital/mobile platforms
*Consistently uphold high standards of workmanship, compliance and health & safety
*Communicate professionally with customers and site contacts
*Manage stock/van parts
*Maintain clear communication with the office, providing detailed job notes and technical feedback
Requirements for a successful Fire Alarm & Security Engineer
* Field-based engineering experience within the fire and/or security sector
*Technical knowledge of fire alarms, access control, CCTV and emergency lighting
*Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
*Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively
*Strong customer service and communication skills
*Full UK driving license
