Job Description:
Are you an experienced Credit Controller who is looking to have overall responsibility for their ledger in a fast growing, family run company? Are you seeking an exciting business with an established product selling across the UK & overseas?
Responsibilities
As a Senior Credit Controller you will be responsible for –
*Leading the credit control process from billing through to cash collection across a multi-currency, international ledger
*Maintaining strong cash flow performance by actively managing outstanding balances and minimising overdue debt
*Carrying out key finance operations including invoicing, cash posting, allocations, and order release processes
*Designing and applying insight-led collection approaches to reduce risk and improve debtor days
*Working closely with the Financial Controller to provide visibility on performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement
*Contributing to system and process enhancements, particularly across ERP platforms, to support scalability
*Driving efficiencies through automation and continuous improvement across finance processes
*Managing credit insurance arrangements and advising on exposure and risk management strategies
Requirements:
As a Senior Credit Controller you will need –
*Experience managing your own ledger with a strong track record in debt collection and control
*Solid understanding of credit control processes and financial fundamentals
*High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate reporting for internal and external stakeholders
*Confidence using finance systems and an interest in leveraging technology to improve processes
*Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business
