Job Title: RTR Accountant - Intercompany (12-Month FTC)
Location: Salford (Hybrid - 1-2 days in office)
Salary: Up to £45,000
Overview
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced RTR Accountant to join a high-performing finance function on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role sits within the Record-to-Report (RTR) team, focusing on intercompany accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely financial reporting across the group.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage intercompany accounting processes, including journals, reconciliations, and balance matching
*Ensure timely month-end close activities in line with reporting deadlines
*Investigate and resolve intercompany differences across multiple entities
*Collaborate with finance teams, treasury, and shared services to improve processes
*Support VAT and tax compliance relating to intercompany transactions
*Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to automate and streamline workflows
*Assist with audit requirements, providing supporting documentation and analysis
*Contribute to system testing and process documentation where required
Key Requirements
* (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent)
*Proven experience in intercompany accounting within an RTR environment
*Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
*Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion or similar preferred)
*High attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines
*Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

*Experience in a shared service or high-volume environment
*Exposure to process improvement or transformation projects
Working Pattern
*Hybrid working: 1-2 days per week in the Salford office
