Broster Buchanan have been exclusively engaged to support a prestigious client in the Newmarket area with an urgent interim need to hire a commercially minded Finance Business Partner.

This position focuses on delivering high-quality financial insight, constructive challenge, and forward-looking analysis to support procurement and commercial teams. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations, while helping to balance short-term responsiveness with long-term value creation.


Key Responsibilities
*Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight, challenge, and decision support
*Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and longer-term planning processes
*Deliver clear, concise analysis to inform procurement and commercial decisions
*Support the evaluation of opportunities, risks, and investment cases
*Help drive performance improvements across revenue, margin, and cost efficiency
*Contribute to the development of reporting and insight capabilities
*Operate within a strong financial control and governance framework
*Build effective relationships across finance, commercial teams, and external partners
The role requires a proactive approach, strong prioritisation skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while maintaining a focus on commercial outcomes.

Fully qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA essential as is some experience supporting procurement/ sales departments.

May/ early June start preferred
Client open to considering professional contractors, or those interested in contract-permanent.
