Duties of the Roadside Vehicle Technician:
*Responding to roadside recovery calls across Horsham and surrounding areas
*Conducting vehicle diagnostics including tyre replacements, battery replacements, and fault detection
*Recovering vehicles to local garages when repairs are necessary
*Providing high-quality customer service whilst working in roadside conditions
*Managing shift patterns that may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends, with a predictable rota
*Ensuring vehicle and customer safety during roadside assistance operations
Requirements of the Roadside Vehicle Technician:
*Proven experience in roadside assistance, vehicle recovery, or similar roles
*Level 2 qualification as a Vehicle Technician or equivalent
*Strong diagnostic skills with experience in tyre repairs, battery replacements, and fault detection
*Resilient and professional attitude, able to work effectively under pressure
*Excellent customer service skills, maintaining professionalism in challenging situations
*Reliable and flexible, willing to work various shifts including weekends if required
*Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
