Job Description:
Revenue Assistant
A London-based law firm is looking to recruit a Revenue Assistant into its Finance Department. This role is ideal for someone with billing or credit control experience who is keen to develop their career within a professional services environment.
As a Revenue Assistant, you will support the conversion of work in progress into accurate invoices and help ensure timely payment. You will work closely with revenue controllers, fee-earners and partners, playing an important part in maintaining a smooth and professional billing process.
Key duties include:
*Processing a high volume of invoices in line with established procedures
*Converting work in progress into accurate, compliant invoices
*Supporting debt collection activity and resolving billing queries
*Liaising with clients, fee-earners and finance colleagues
*Maintaining accurate records of unpaid invoices and escalating issues where needed
Key requirements include:
*One to two years’ experience in billing, revenue or credit control within professional services
*Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
*Confident communication skills and a professional approach to stakeholders
*Ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise effectively
*Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
