Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Caretaker to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and presentation of two residential developments. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards and enjoys being the go-to person on-site.
Location: Split across two residential developments in Surrey and South West London (2 days at one site, 3 days at the other)
Key Responsibilities
*Carry out routine inspections of both sites to ensure cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep
*Perform basic maintenance tasks (e.g. minor repairs, changing light bulbs, painting touch-ups)
*Manage waste disposal and recycling areas
*Liaise with residents, contractors, and managing agents in a professional manner
*Monitor and report any health & safety issues or maintenance concerns
*Coordinate access for contractors and oversee works where required
*Ensure communal areas (hallways, entrances, grounds) are clean, tidy, and well-presented
About You
*Previous experience in a caretaker, maintenance, or facilities role preferred
*Basic DIY and maintenance skills
*Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
*Good communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to manage time effectively across two locations
*A proactive, can-do attitude
